Upcoming Posts

Well, it’s been busy, busy, busy, and there’s only more busy to come! Which all bodes well for me, this blog, and its readers. I didn’t want the time between posts to drag on so I thought I’d provide a quick preview of what’s to come and whet everyone’s appetite.

I was fortunate to attend an incredibly awesome one day conference in Washington, D.C. at the Chamber of Commerce. It was hosted by the Center for Women in Business and was called Advancing Women to the Top. The break out sessions, the panels (including one comprised of men), and the networking event after the conference were not only informative, enlightening, and interesting, but the entire experience was exceptional. Stay tuned for insights.

Speaking of conferences… Next week, I’ll be attending a content strategy conference in Miami. Now, clearly I love writing, so I’m looking forward to what will be presented over the two days I’m there; but Miami is one of my most favorite cities! As it turns out, I won’t get to enjoy fun in the sun, but I will be able to take advantage of some of the night life. And to top it off, my cousin has decided that she will be in Miami at the same time I’m there. Forget Kim and Kourtney Take Miami!

Upcoming Book Reviews: At the moment, I’m reading Defending Jacob. I have to say it is not drawing me in. Granted, I’m only on page 48 of 372, but I expected more based on the premise of the book, good reviews, and the fact that it was recommended to me by a co-worker. However, I’m sure I’ll find the motivation to get through that book to get to the latest Black Dagger Brotherhood book, Lover At Last, which comes out on the 26th. Can’t wait! I also need to catch up on James Patterson’s, Alex Cross series and Tess Gerritsen’s, Rizzoli and Isles series. And then the romance novels will kick in again.

Plus, I’m hosting Easter, I have a broken toilet, and a 10k coming up next month. For anyone who knows me, and those who are getting to know me through this blog–you can see there is and will be much fodder to draw from.

So, bear with me. Great posts are on the horizon! (Oh, and I’ve decided to redecorate my entire house. Before and after pics will be posted. Who can resist those?!?!)
