apple pie sangria

I whole heartedly admit that I have absolutely no idea when apple season begins and ends. But I like to think that we’re still in the midst of it. So with that in mind, this cocktail is perfect for this time of year. (Or let’s be honest, is there ever a bad time for sangria?) A friend of mine brought a pitcher of this to a Thanksgiving party a few years ago and I have been making it ever since for gatherings. Apologies for not sharing sooner. Bottoms up!

Directions:

  • Add wine, vodka, apple cider, and Fireball into a pitcher/jug
  • Dice apples and pears (bite size)
  • Stir, stir, stir
  • Chill for at least 2 hours
  • Add the cinnamon sticks 1 hour before serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 regular size (or one large) bottle of pinot grigio
  • 1 cup caramel apple vodka
  • 5 cups apple cider
  • Fireball to taste
  • 2 apples (Fuji or other sweet apple)
  • 2 pears
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
