With a Heavy Heart…

I spent Friday morning and part of the afternoon attending the home going service (aka–funeral) for someone who was special to me. Evangelist Linda passed away Saturday before last, after battling cancer for several years. I’ve mentioned my church in past posts, Mt. Calvary AME Church in Towson, MD, and for me, Minister Linda was a big part of that church. You also could argue that she was an integral part of my joining Mt....

TV Marketing Ploys–Do They Work?

There aren’t many shows that I stay up-to-date on. Actually, there are 3 to be exact: The Following, Scandal, and Criminal Minds. Social Media: Is It Too Much?

Let me first address the elephant in the room: No, I will not be doing an Oscars recap. I was at an evening church service, last night, enjoying my phenomenal pastor, Rev. Dr. Ann Lightner-Fuller, preach (shameless promo: Come out to Mt. Calvary AME Church in Towson and be blessed!)–so I missed the red carpet arrivals. I then attempted to watch the show and it was so awful, I not only lost interest in...

Get To The Parking Lot

Let’s dive right in shall we? For starters, I have been MIA (in case you care, and I’m sure you do) because my right hand/wrist was in a brace for a week+. The original diagnosis was carpal tunnel. Thankfully, the real diagnosis was a flare up of my tendonitis. The brace is gone, ibuprofen is my friend, and once again, I am able to write and type. Yeah me! Recently, I acquired an Accountability...
